Effective & efficient metal fabrication
G&M Services have full design and metal fabrication facilities. From the inception of the contract G&M are able to master complicated transportation and craneage challenges surrounding a construction scheme.
From “Access & Egress” planning through to risk managed lifting plans complete with method statements.
Original design drawings showed a Switch Room Container sitting on concrete plinths. This meant that access to the sophisticated terminations beneath was being fouled.
G&M’s engineering flexibility allowed them to undertake the redesign of a new steel framework fabricated in situ.
It enabled the 12.5 Tonne prefabricated switch room container to be craned on to the new specialised galvanised steel frame built 1000mm above ground level enabling access to the termination equipment beneath.
G&M employ fully qualified and certified riggers to undertake these installations.
